We aim to ensure all patients asking for a routine appointment are able to see a GP within 48 hours of the request and for a healthcare professional within 24 hours for a routine appointment. Within this timescale we won’t always be able to offer an appointment with the GP of your choice, so if you want to see a particular person you might need to wait a little longer. All consultations are by appointment, made either in person, by telephone 01752 766644/791438 or using our online booking system, to use the online booking system please speak to a receptionist and they will give you all the details.
We now offer extended hours which are normally Thurs 07:00 – 08:00 and every fourth Saturday 08:00 – 11:45 but these times are subject to change.
Appointments are available two weeks in advance and you will be offered the first available appointment with a doctor. To help the surgeries run as smoothly as possible please bear in mind the following:
- Be punctual
- Cancel appointments in good time – someone else may need it
- 1 appointment is for 1 patient
A home visit can take three times as long as surgery appointments due to the travelling time. Therefore, doctors would appreciate it if patients can attend surgery whenever possible. If you are too ill to attend and require a home visit, please telephone 01752 766644/791438 before 10am in order to let the doctors plan their work more efficiently, except in an emergency. All home visits are undertaken at the doctor’s discretion.
Emergencies Out of Hours
If you have an URGENT medical need when the surgery is closed, please phone the usual surgery telephone number 01752 766644/791438.
