TALKWORKS offers support for anxiety
If you are working with a patient who is struggling with a common mental health problem, including anxiety, stress or worry, please consider referring them to TALKWORKS for support. TALKWORKS can offer a range of treatments and talking therapies around managing anxiety, including:
- One-to-one sessions with a therapist (face-to-face, over the phone or by video call)
- Group therapy sessions and wellbeing workshops
- Access to online self-help (available 24 hours a day)
- Live text-based therapy (available 7 days a week, from 6am-11pm)
TALKWORKS currently has short wait times, and a range of flexible therapy sessions, including early morning and evening sessions. The service is open to adults over the age of 18, living in Devon (excluding Plymouth) who is experiencing a common mental health problem.
Patients can refer themselves to TALKWORKS by calling 0300 555 3344, or by filling in a self-referral form on the website. You can also make a referral on the patient’s behalf by completing their online healthcare professional form.
