Important - We are facing major issues with the NHS App since changing clinical systems. If you try the app and your medications aren’t visible, order via the website, click the link Prescriptions and Medicines and list the medication you require on the Repeat Prescription Request Form. We will take action as soon as possible for you while we are fixing the fault. HANDi App for child health

Devon parents/carers can download a free locally developed app to help them manage some of the common childhood illnesses, with advice from child health professionals at their fingertips.

The app has been developed by paediatric consultants and, covers conditions, such as:

  • Diarrhoea and vomiting
  • ‘Chesty baby’ illnesses, such as bronchiolitis, asthma and croup
  • ‘Chesty child’ illnesses, such as wheezing and asthma
  • High temperature
  • Abdominal pain
  • Common new-born problems
