GP’s instructed to cancel non-urgent blood tests

Posted on August 31st, 2021

“Dear patient, You may have seen on the news the issues with blood bottle shortages. NHS England have instructed all GPs to cancel non-urgent blood tests. This means that only urgent blood tests can be booked by doctors following national guidance. We will consider every patients case carefully and individually. If you have an appointment for blood tests, we will contact you if it must be cancelled. If you have been advised by us before today to go to the Future Inn, please check with us first.
We understand the frustration this may cause and apologise for any inconvenience.”
