Our Vision
To continue to provide high-quality, sustainable primary care. We aim to be a practice where patients feel truly heard, staff feel genuinely valued, and clinical excellence is the standard, not the exception. We recognise that to look after our patients effectively, we must first look after the people providing that care.
Our Core Values
Our practice culture is built on five fundamental pillars that align with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) framework:
- Caring: We treat every patient with empathy, dignity, and respect. We don’t just treat symptoms; we care for people.
-
Safe: We maintain rigorous clinical governance and a robust “no-blame” learning culture to ensure the highest safety standards.
-
Effective: Our care is evidence-based, utilising the latest clinical guidelines to achieve the best possible outcomes for our population. Whilst embracing technology and advanced systems to support our teams.
-
Responsive: We listen through our Virtual Patient Participation Group (PPG) and social media, using technology to reach as many patients as possible, adapting our services to meet the evolving needs of our diverse community.
-
Supportive: We place staff wellbeing at the centre of our operations, fostering a resilient and unified team.
Aims and Objectives
-
Patient-Centred Care: To provide personalised care that respects individual choice and involves patients in every decision regarding their health.
-
Well-Led Excellence: To maintain an open, transparent leadership structure where staff are empowered to innovate and share concerns without fear, ensuring a stable and happy workforce.
-
Collaborative Teamwork: To operate as a cohesive multi-disciplinary team. We break down hierarchies to ensure that every role—from our care navigators to our clinicians—is respected and integrated into our decision-making processes.
-
Staff Wellbeing & Development: To proactively support the mental and physical health of our team. We provide regular protected learning time, mentorship, and wellbeing check-ins to prevent burnout and encourage professional growth. Supporting team members to be open with us, offering counselling, EAP programmes and continued support.
-
Equitable Access: To offer a range of appointment types—including face-to-face, telephone, and digital consultations—ensuring that no member of our community is left behind.
-
Continuous Improvement: To utilise regular audits, significant event analysis, and patient feedback to constantly refine our processes and clinical delivery. We embrace technology and advancements to services and systems, engage in clinical and practice development activities and encourage our team to expand their knowledge, engage in training and wider community network working.
