Emma is a registered Pharmacy Technician with 16 years’ experience spent in a community Pharmacy. Emma joined the practice team in January 2021 as a Pharmacy Technician processing medication queries.
Philippa enjoyed a fulfilling and varied career in the Royal Navy as a Petty Officer Medical Assistant for just short of 20 years. Serving at sea and shore based medical facilities Philippa gained a wealth of experience. Having taken a break for a number of years to bring up her family, Philippa decided to return to working within a medical environment retraining as a Phlebotomist and joined the surgery in July 2021.
Tracy previously worked at Derriford Hospital in Mental Health. She joined Peverell Park Surgery in 2006 and trained as a Phlebotomist in 2009.
Jo has been with Peverell Park Surgery since 1999 starting as a receptionist before training as a Phlebotomist in 2009 and as an HCA in 2014. She recently completed a foundation degree at Plymouth University and is now a qualified Nursing Associate.
Electrocardiograms (ECGs) are carried out in-house.
This testing is now conducted in house by our phlebotomists.
Any specimens that have to go to the laboratories need to be handed into the surgery by 10.00am each day (Monday to Friday). They need to be clearly labelled with your name and the reason why they are being submitted.
These are conducted for the treatment of such conditions as ingrowing toe nails, moles etc.
